Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Deewan in the hall of the 1846 church building — sangat gathered in worship.
A heritage church, reborn as a Gurdwara.
Founded in 2005, the Guru Nanak Society of Australia opened Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar in a heritage-listed 1846 church in Allenby Gardens — preserving its arched windows and original character while making it a home for the Adelaide sangat.
Today the Gurdwara serves free vegetarian langar to people of every background, runs a Punjabi school for children, and serves the broader Australian community.
